On Saturday, Rod Odom ’09 saw his first action of the season for his new professional team, Paris-Levallois, scoring 16 points on 7-of-10 shooting.
Odom began the season with the Metropolitans sidelined with a shoulder injury, but made an immediate impact in his first game with his new club. He connected on one of two 3-point attempts, made 6-of-8 two-point tries, and snared 4 rebounds in a productive 24 minutes. NBA Champion and former San Antonio Spur, Boris Diaw, added 14 points and 3 rebounds. The Metros fell to JDA Dijon on the road, 85-93, to drop to 2-5 on the season, but the addition of Odom should give them a needed boost.
Odom and Levallois are back in action on Saturday in a match-up with Le Mans.
