

This afternoon, the cross country teams continued their outstanding seasons with dominant victories over Southold on the 2.9-mile course at Cathedral Pines.
The girls improved to 3-0 on the season in a 19-44 win as Miranda Harrigan remained flawless in league races, leading the way in 20:40. Southold nabbed 2nd place, but Bears took the next six slots to seal the victory. Sarah Wong (3rd place/22:35), Vivien Mimura (4th/22:37), Judy Tao (5th/24:08), and Erika Kady (6th/24:28) rounded out the scoring for the Brook.
The boys took care of the Settlers in their race, 18-45, grabbing nine of the first ten spots to improve to 3-1 on the season. Riley Corcoran led the way for the Bears, taking first place in 17:28. Louis Wang (2nd/17:40), Aidan Harrigan (4th/18:54), Clement Leung (5th/19:00), and Emmanuel Ajewole (6th/19:07) also scored for the Bears.
Both teams wrap up their regular seasons on Tuesday at Shelter Island. The girls’ race vs. the Indians will determine the League VIII champion.
