On Wednesday afternoon, the boys’ badminton team improved to 7-3 on the season with a 5-4 victory at Walt Whitman.

The Bears had a balanced attack as the singles crew registered three wins while the doubles tandems grabbed two to give the Brook the narrow margin of victory.

Haban Weon (2nd singles/ 15-8, 15-1), Tiger Sun (3rd singles/ 15-8, 9-15, 15-11), and Jerry Liu (4th singles/ 15-5, 15-7) all earned victories. The winning duos on the doubles side were Tony Yu and David Wang (1st doubles/ 15-10, 15-7) and Ulysses Zhang and Jack Yu (2nd doubles/ 15-10, 15-8).

The Bears are back in action on Monday in a home match against Whitman.
