On this day nine years ago, Greg Titus ’03 scored a hat trick to lead the Salisbury University men’s lacrosse team over #16 St. Lawrence University.

The former Bear knotted the game at 1-1 with 6:26 left in the first quarter, then tied the game again at 3-3 with 9:47 remaining in the second. His third score came with 5:01 left in the third quarter to give the Sea Gulls an 8-7 lead on their way to an 11-10 victory.

Salisbury would go on to finish the season 22-0 and win their fourth Division III National Championship in five years. Titus would notch 2 goals and 3 assists in the 19-13 title game win over Cortland and would later be named an Honorable Mention All-American after finishing 8th in the nation in goals with 54.
