For the first time since taking the 13th spot in the first poll of the season on December 13, the boys’ basketball team is back in the top 25 rankings of the New York State Sportswriters Association Class C Poll.
In the most recent poll, released yesterday, the Bears are slotted at #12, the lowest ranked of the four remaining teams in the State Tournament. The three other teams in contention for the New York State crown are ranked in the top three spots. Stony Brook will face off against #3 Moravia on Friday afternoon in the New York State semifinals.
