
In the first New York State Sportswriters Association poll of the season, the boys’ basketball team is ranked 13th in New York’s Class C.
At the time the poll was taken, the Bears were 2-1 with wins over the Ross School and Mattituck and a loss to Class B Center Moriches. The Bears are currently 3-1 after a big win over cross town rival Port Jeff on Thursday.
