It has been ten long years since “Stony Brook” appeared on a boys’ lacrosse jersey, but the hiatus is over. After a lengthy coaching search, the program has found its leader and a vision is being cast to bring the Bears back to prominence.
New Coach

Robbie Campbell will head the team and his vision and enthusiasm for restoring the luster to our lacrosse tradition is palpable. Campbell is a 2012 graduate of Stony Brook University where he started for four years, anchoring the midfield line and registering 138 career points (82 goals, 56 assists) for one of the best Division I programs in the nation during that span. He closed his senior year as a 1st Team All-Conference and All-Conference Academic honoree as well as an Honorable Mention All-American. Since graduating from the other “Brook,” Robbie has coached in the widely respected Team 91 and Three Village Lacrosse club systems and is excited for the opportunity to revitalize our program.
