
Yesterday, Rosa Jones ’16 and the Franklin Pierce University women’s golf team finished in 2nd place at the Northeast-10 Conference Championship held at the Bretwood Golf Course in Keene, NH.
The Ravens finished Sunday’s first round in 3rd place behind Merrimack and Le Moyne, but charged on day two, improving 14 strokes over the previous day’s team score to leapfrog Le Moyne and take the runner-up spot for the third straight season.
Jones shot a 93 on day one, but closed the tournament with an 88 for a two-day total of 181, allowing her to finish in a tie for 24th place.
The Ravens are back on the course this Sunday for a two-day tournament in Kutztown, PA.
