Yesterday, Rosa Jones ’16 and her Franklin Pierce University women’s golf team took first place in the annual FPU Fall Invitational.
In her first collegiate golf match, Jones finished in a tie for 10th with a +12 round of 84 in a field of 32 golfers. As a team, the Ravens shot 319 (+31) to best second-place finisher Adelphi University by 17 strokes and emerge victorious from the five-team field.
Jones and the Ravens return to the links on Sunday Sept. 11 for a two-day match with Gannon University in Erie, PA.
