Last night Jake Singer ’14 scored the eventual game-winning goal in the season opener for the Trevecca Nazarene University men’s soccer team.

The Trojans got on the board first in the 10th minute before Singer pushed the lead to 2-0 by heading a corner kick home in the 31st minute. The University of Alabama–Huntsville halved the lead in the 68th minute, but the Trojan defense held for the 2-1 victory.

Singer and Trevecca will take the field again on Sept. 5 vs. Southern Indiana.
