
The 2016 track season was a magical one for Jyles Etienne. He earned notable victories at the CARIFTA Games, the New York Relays, the Loucks Games, and the Bahamas Junior Nationals, finished runner-up at the Penn Relays and the New Balance Outdoor Nationals, and earned Division, County, State, and Federation titles in just his second season of competitive jumping.
His season best leap of 6′ 11″ also places him among the very best high school jumpers in America. He finished the season tied for 26th in the U.S. and tied for 6th among U.S. juniors.
