The girls’ badminton team registered their first win of the season yesterday over Lindenhurst, topping the Bulldogs 5-4.

All the singles ladies were victorious to pace the Bears as Melinda Chen won at 1st singles in three sets, Ariel Wong won at 3rd singles after recently moving up from 4th, and Maria Volovaya, Elena Chen, and Tina Zhu each registered their first wins of the seasons.

On the boys’ side, the Bears lost their third, 4-5, decision of the season against one of the league leaders. Haban Weon (3rd Singles), Jerry Liu (4th Singles), Tiger Sun (5th Singles), and Kevin Wang/Sam Han (2nd Doubles) were victorious for the Brook.
