On Sunday, Rod Odom ’09 scored 14 points to help lead Virtus Bologna past Scandone Avellino, 81-66.
The 6′ 9″ forward connected on both of his 3-point attempts, scored twice from two-point territory, and was 4-of-5 from the free throw line in the victory. His line also included 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals.
Odom is currently averaging 12 points per game and 5.2 rebounds per game through nine games, both of which are good enough for second-highest on the team. Dexter Pittman, a former star for the University of Texas and member of the NBA’s Miami Heat, leads the team with 14.1 points per game.
Odom and Virtus will take the floor again on Dec. 6 against Vanoli Cremona.
