On this day 63 years ago, the football team earned a comeback victory over Northport.
The Brook scored first in the contest and took their 6-0 lead into the half. As the second half began, Northport responded with a touchdown of their own and converted the extra point for a 7-6 lead. It was a short-lived advantage, however, as the Blue and White erupted for three touchdowns in the third quarter to cement a 26-7 victory.
Len Woodel scored twice for the Brook while Peter Pay and Barry Vaughn each tallied a touchdown.
