This morning, Margot Rashba ’14 and the Tufts University cross country team took first place in the ECAC Division III Championship, their first title in the history of the event.

The Jumbos’ five scorers placed 2nd, 6th, 10th, 13th, and 14th to beat out 45 other teams. Rashba came in 13th out of 311 runners on the 6k-course at Williams College in a time of 23:42 to help Tufts distance themselves from 2nd place University of New England by 17 points.
