On Thursday afternoon, the girls’ soccer team battled league rival Pierson to a 1-1 tie.

With under two minutes remaining in the match, and the Whalers holding a 1-0 lead, Annie Skorobohaty found Morgan Pius who blasted home the equalizer from outside the 18-yard box to steal victory away from Pierson.

Our girls have not lost to the Whalers since September 27, 2007.
