Here are the Bears’ top plays from the week of September 28-October 4.


  • #10 – Sam Hou equalizes to bring the JV boys’ soccer team back from an 0-2 deficit vs. Southampton. The boys would complete the comeback and win 3-2.
  • #9 – Francine Leung wins the 50 freestyle in 29.13 vs. Harborfields.
  • #8 – Sam Hou scores off of a feed from Ryan Eikenes to cut the JV boys’ soccer team’s deficit to 2-1 vs. Southampton. Caleb Spreckles started the play with a great free kick into the box.
  • #7 – Mac Bohuny scores the equalizer with under five minutes left, thanks to a great corner kick from David Choi, during the boys’ soccer team’s 4-3 victory over Greenport.
  • #6 – Fiona Farrell makes a great save vs. Babylon.
  • #5 – Rebecca Crane wins a thrilling 500 freestyle in comeback fashion vs. Harborfields in 5:43.22. Her time was good enough to qualify for the Suffolk County Championships.
  • #4 – Alvaro Martinez Torres scores his first of two goals and gives the Bears an early 2-1 lead vs. Greenport.
  • #3 – David Choi scores an equalizer to knot the game at 1-1 vs. Greenport.
  • #2 – Rachel Crane chases down her Harborfields opponent to win the 200 individual medley in 2:25.55. Her time was good enough to qualify for the Suffolk County Championships.
  • #1 – Alvaro Martinez Torres nets the game-winner with just eight seconds left to propel the boys to a 4-3 win over Greenport.
