Yesterday was a historic afternoon in Swanson Natatorium as the Brook hosted its first swim meet in twelve years. No one, including the girls, knew quite what to expect as they welcomed Class AA William Floyd into the pool. The result: 10 wins out of 11 events and a 60-33 victory in their League III opener.
The Crane girls led the way as Rachel won the 100 backstroke (1:07.57) and 200 freestyle (2:11.34) while Rebecca claimed easy victories in the 100 butterfly (1:13.51) and 200 IM (2:29.86).
