The first day of the 2015 fall athletic season was a humid one–a brief sun shower alleviated the heat for a few moments–but the Bears were resourceful as they competed for coveted roster spots.
The highlight of the day was coach Jennifer Crane’s appearance at the girls’ tennis practice, despite having ankle surgery the day before. Though Coach Crane was in a wheelchair, she was not limited by it as she passionately directed the reigning undefeated League Champions on day one of their title defense.
It was also a historic day as the newly renovated Swanson Natatorium held its first girls’ swimming practice since 2003.
Note: The golf and sailing teams practice off campus.
