At the Bahamas Open National Track & Field Championships last Friday, Jyles Etienne shattered his own school record in the high jump by 2.5″ with a leap of 6′ 8″. It was the 3rd-highest jump for all of New York State in 2015 and was tied for the 10th highest jump in America among sophomores:
