Yesterday, at Copiague’s Urban-Walsh Memorial Invitational, sophomore Jyles Etienne continued his sensational track season with a 1st place finish in the open high jump.
His jump of 6′ 4″ bested a strong field that included a number of Class AA and A schools. The only other sophomore in the field finished in 10th place with a jump of 5′ 6″.
Etienne’s mark is currently the fourth-best in Suffolk County this season.
