On this day three years ago, Taylor Colucci won the 100 and 200 meters at the prestigious St. Anthony’s invitational.
In the 100 meters, Colucci had the top time of 11.23 coming out of preliminaries, then came back with a blazing 11.05 in the finals to dust the rest of the field by 0.31 seconds.

Colucci’s dominant performance earned him the meet’s Most Outstanding Athlete award. He almost single-handedly helped the Brook finish 10th as a team in a field of 40 schools.
He would finish an incredible final season at the Brook as a National and State Champion in the 200 meters and the anchor of the State Champion 4×100 meter relay team.
