Brianna Stiklickas ’11 saved her best javelin toss of the season for the NEWMAC (New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference) Championships, to earn just one of three top-five finishes on the day for Babson College.
Stiklickas’ throw of 31.59 meters was by far her best of the day as she fouled twice and threw distances of 28.56, 27.25, and 27.16 meters on her other five attempts.
Babson will return to the track on Thursday as they begin competition in the NCAA New England Regional Championships at MIT.
