Don Liotine ’13 was the Seawolves’ second-leading rusher, running for 68 yards on 12 carries in Stony Brook University’s Frank Conti Memorial Spring Game today.
One week after Liotine rushed for 31 yards in the squad’s third scrimmage of the spring season, the sophomore running back reeled off lengthy runs of 27 yards and 14 yards, showcasing his speed and ability to change direction.
Alums Alexa Haemer ’12 and Alexa Augustine ’12 were in the stands to cheer him on.
After recovering from his second season-ending injury with the Seawolves, Liotine has steadily risen up the depth chart during a successful spring season. He and the Seawolves will take the field next on September 3 at the University of Toledo.
