On this day 15 years ago, Robbie Marvin ’96 went 3-for-5 in a 10-6 win over the University of North Carolina.

The former Bear singled twice in Virginia’s six-run 3rd inning and added another single in the 5th as the Cavaliers knocked off the #12 ranked Tar Heels.

Marvin would finish his senior season as the team leader in batting average (.350) and stolen bases (16) and would be named All-ACC for the Cavaliers.
