Over the weekend, Tyler Abrahamsen ’13 finished in 21st place, out of 94 golfers, in the Liberty Spring Invitational.

The former Bear shot a 4-over par 220 over the three-day tournament with individual round scores of 72, 73, and 75. The deep field included the University of Oklahoma and the University of North Carolina, but Abrahamsen proved he belonged, shooting the third-best score for the Flames who finished in 3rd place.

While at the Brook, Abrahamsen was an All-County honoree for the golf and tennis teams and an All-State basketball player whose 3-point sharpshooting helped lead the Bears to the 2013 Long Island Championship.
