On this day 15 years ago, Diane Grimm ’96 scored her 100th career goal for the University of Mary Washington in a 16-11 victory over 10th-ranked Rowan University, becoming just the seventh Eagle to accomplish that milestone.

In her final season, Grimm would lead Mary Washington to a #5 national ranking, a 15-3 record, and the first NCAA tournament berth in school history. For her efforts she would be named 2nd Team All-American.
