On this day 21 years ago, the 200 yard freestyle relay team took 3rd place at the New York State Championships.

Jean Crousillat, Jonathan Meltzer, Steven Meltzer, and Casey O’Donnell took bronze for the Bears and would go on to be named All-Americans. It was the second straight All-American nod for Crousillat and the Meltzers as Casey O’Donnell ably filled in for Will Smith, who had graduated the year before.
