Yesterday at the UNC-Greensboro Spartan Team Challenge, Alexis Fernandez ’13 earned a 2nd place finish in the triple jump at her first indoor event of the year.
In a field of 12 jumpers, the High Point University sophomore hopped, skipped, and jumped to a distance of 37′ 2.5″.
Fernandez and the Panthers will take to the track next at the Hilton Garden Invitational on January 30.
