The boys’ basketball team is off to a great start, thanks in part to the scoring ability of senior guard Robbie Colarusso. The Bears have jumped out to a 2-0 record in League VIII play, winning both of their games by a combined 66 points. In four games Colarusso has averaged 21 points per game, scoring 18 in a season opening rout of Port Jeff, 19 in a gritty loss to Class B power Babylon, 21 in a win over Ross, and a season-high 26 in a thumping of Greenport.
