While at Stony Brook, Austin Hulse ’13 had arguably the finest wrestling career in Stony Brook history. He was a County Champion in 2013, one of only seven in school history and just the third since 1934. He also became the first Blue and White grappler to earn 100 victories, an incredible milestone given the high-quality competition in Suffolk’s Division II.

After graduating from the Brook, Hulse earned a spot on the wrestling squad at Sacred Heart University. This morning the sophomore earned his first career victory for the Pioneers, pinning David Kampmeyer in the 149-lbs division.

Hulse and the Pioneers will next compete in the East Stroudsburg University Open next Sunday.
