Last night, the North Park University men’s soccer team improved to 8-1 thanks to a second half offensive cannonade and another stellar performance in goal from Wes Woodley ’11.

Robert Morris University came charging out of the gates, testing Woodley early with four quick shots, but the keeper turned each of them aside to keep the Vikings level. Woodley’s teammates would reward his effort with five goals, including four in the second half, to bury the Eagles, 5-0.

It was Woodley’s fifth shutout of the season. In the victory he upped his save percentage to .824, good enough for third in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW). The Vikings are back in action on Saturday vs. Millikin University.
