Another day, another three-goal deficit overcome by a Stony Brook soccer team.

Just a day after the girls turned an 0-3 halftime hole into a 5-3 victory, the boys won a thriller, 6-5, after trailing 1-4 at the midpoint. The Bears tacked a goal on early in the second half, but the Royals struck back to push their lead to 5-2. Down three goals with just fifteen minutes remaining, hope had all but evaporated when a furious comeback ensued.

In thirteen minutes, the Brook reeled off three goals to tie the game at 5-5, setting up the goal of the season thus far. Inpyo Ma sent the ball upfield to Jason Lee. After a touch by Lee popped the ball into the air, he volleyed it some forty yards toward the net with 30 seconds remaining. The ball moved right before tailing back left, sailing over the outstretched arms of the keeper and into the net for the go-ahead goal.

Khendrick Beausoleil had two goals, while Caleb Lindo, Mac Bohuny, and Ma each added a goal for the Brook.
