Miranda Harrigan excelled in yesterday’s Bob Pratt Invitational, finishing 23rd in the Girls’ Varsity 2 race in a time of 23:04. Even more impressive, she was second among freshmen in a race that included 112 runners. Anna Brummeler (57th place/26:03), Danielle Sivertsen (65th/26:36), Nicole Gray (70th/26:51), Cianka Haynes (71st/26:52), Lely Garner (73rd/26:58), and Kelly Yu (108th/31:51) also ran well enough to help the Brook beat out teams from Oyster Bay, Comsewogue, Plainedge, MacArthur, and John Glenn.

On the boys’ side, Jacob Brummeler (74th/20:58), Luis Irias (89th/21:49), John Desan (94th/21:59), Henry Zhao (121st/24:27), Tion Wong (122nd/24:32), and Matt Wong (127th/25:16) ran well in a deep field in the Boys’ Varsity 2 race.
