Today the Three Village Patch named seniors Graham Payne and Tylah Gantt as its “Three Village Athletes of the Week.”

For many kids across Long Island, interscholastic sports is a key component of their school experiences. They work hard and play hard, too. And that’s why Three Village Patch will be putting the spotlight on some of those athletes each week. This week, Tylah Gantt and Graham Payne from The Stony Brook School are Three Village Patch athletes of the week.

Hometown: Lake Grove, NY
Team position: Singles player
Highlights: Steady leader on the team despite Stony Brook’s 0-7 record.

Graham Payne | Soccer

Age: 17
Grade: 12th
Hometown: Berwyn, PA
Team position: Goalie
Highlights: Coach Jeremy Meserole said Payne is playing like a veteran even though he hasn’t played goalie since middle school. “He’s aggressive, confident, and capable,” Meserole said.
