Sophomore Margot Rashba, the reigning Class D County Champion, finished 5th in the sophomore 5k race of the Suffolk Coaches Invitational this afternoon. She covered the difficult Sunken Meadow State Park course in a time of 22:52, averaging 7:21 per mile. Her time would have placed her at 36th out of 141 runners in the Varsity A race and 28th out of 132 in the Varsity B race, the two most competitive races of the day. Additionally, out of 534 girls competing in six different races, Rashba’s time slotted her in 68th place overall.
