The Gordon College women’s soccer team opened conference play yesterday afternoon with a resounding 4-1 victory at Nichols College. Karina Scavo ’09 was one of four different goal scorers for the Fighting Scots as they improved to 3-1-0 (1-0-0). Scavo put Gordon on the board just 4:24 into the match on a free kick from 20 yards. The Scots built a 3-0 halftime lead en route to a lopsided victory over the Bison. The Scots will next face Daniel Webster on Tuesday in a non-conference tilt.
