On this day 36 years ago, the fastest 4×400 relay team in school history took the track at the Suffolk Officials Meet and blazed to a time of 3:25.1. Kevin Lockerbie ’77, Steve Crawford ’75, Ed Young ’75, and Don Lockerbie ’75 would later lower their collective mark to 3:24.0, the current school record, but 3:25.1 was still good enough to take 2nd in the meet and lay claim to the fastest time run by a Suffolk team in 1975.
