Last Saturday, Justin Song ’05 continued his brilliant track career at Davidson College by blazing to a 22.82 time in the 200-meter dash at the Virginia Tech Final Qualifier. The time was the third-fastest on a banked track in Wildcats history.

The race was another bright spot in Song’s tremendous career. On February 27 he placed 4th in the 400-meter dash at the Southern Conference Championships in a time of 50.10, the second-fastest time in school history. On February 13 he won the 400-meter dash at the UNC Invitational in 50.46 and set the school record in the 60-meter dash with a performance of 7.05.

While at Stony Brook, Song was an All-State sprinter and was a part of the last Penn Relays Champion 4 x 400-meter relay team when he triumphed in 2004 along with teammates Louis Gabel, Dan Hickey, and Christian Francis.

Thanks for writing about me. I feel honored. I'll try harder living up to Stony Brook's expectations in the outdoor season. '04 Penn Relays baby!
