On this day three years ago, the girls’ basketball team won their 37th league game in a row with a 50-27 victory at Mercy. The Bears had gone over three years without falling to a League VIII opponent, their last loss coming by one point on January 29, 2005 vs. Southold. The girls would go on to win their fourth straight League Championship.
