This past Saturday, the wrestling team evened their record at 1-1 with a 46-20 victory over Baruch College Campus High School. The Bears were led by several stellar individual performances highlighted by Austin Hulse’s 19-second pin. Kevin Palmer won a hard-fought 14-3 decision, captain Tyler Anderson recorded a quick pin in 1:23, and Declan Mulligan won his first varsity match with a pin at 5:05. Additionally, the Brook benefited from four Blue Devil forfeits.

The Blue and White grapplers are back in action Wednesday January 12 in their League VII debut vs. Center Moriches, kicking off a week of four home dual meets.

We were a little shorthanded due to the Driven Retreat, but the dual meet was exactly what we needed after a long break and five good days of practice.
