
After a stellar sophomore season for Gordon College, Karina Scavo ’09 garnered 1st Team All-Conference honors in the Commonwealth Coast Conference. The former Bear started all 18 games for Gordon and led the team in assists (8), was 2nd in points (24) and goals (8), and tied for 2nd in game-winning goals (2). Scavo was a catalyst for the playoff-bound Fighting Scots who will take on the #1 seeded Roger Williams University this afternoon @ 1:00pm in Bristol, Rhode Island. In their previous matchup on September 18, the Scots fell to the Hawks 0-1.

- 2nd in assists per game with 0.44
- Tied for 8th in points with 24
- 9th in points per game with 1.33
Scavo was instrumental in Gordon's midfield game in this her first season with the Scots, netting eight goals and dishing as many assists for a total of 24 points on the season.
