In their first non-league tilt of the season, the volleyball team traveled to Babylon and swept their hosts 3-0 this afternoon behind scores of 25-14, 25-17, and 25-20. It was the fourth straight sweep for the Bears who have not dropped a game since October 14th. During that span the girls have outscored their opponents 301-174.
Emily Stone was stellar in the match with 18 aces, helping the Brook improved to 11-2 on the season. Taming the Panthers, a school in a class above us, was a great tune-up for the playoffs that begin next week. Before those arrive the Bears wrap up the regular season with matches against Mercy and Greenport/Southold, both of whom the girls swept in their previous outings.
