Karina Scavo ’09 continued her fantastic sophomore soccer season for Gordon College by notching a goal and an assist in 6-0 romp over Anna Maria yesterday afternoon. Scavo got the senior day festivities started early when she headed in the game-winner just 26 seconds into the match.

The victory helped the Fighting Scots improve to 9-6-1 overall and leveled their conference record at 5-5-1. Scavo is currently tied for 8th in points in the Commonwealth Coast Conference with 19 and tied for 1st in assists with 7.
