The volleyball team registered their third consecutive sweep after dismissing Greenport, 3-0, by scores of 25-16, 25-19 and 25-20 to improve to 6-1. Five of their six wins this year have come by way of the sweep. They have also won 19 of the 23 games they have played in matches this year and have downed their opponents by a combined score of 554-376.
Natalie Istrati had nine kills to lead Stony Brook (6-1) in a 25-16, 25-19, 25-20 League VIII win.~ Newsday
