Karina Scavo ’09 was named the Commonwealth Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week today after two stellar performances for Gordon College. Here is the press release:

Gordon College sophomore Karina Scavo collected two goals and three assists as the Fighting Scots picked up victories over regional rival WPI and TCCC opponent Regis. In a 2-1 victory over WPI, Scavo assisted on the game-winning goal that snapped a 1-1 tie in the 86th minute. She added a pair of goals and an assist in a 5-0 win over Regis that improved the Fighting Scots to 4-0 on the young season.
